This print is from a series of work developed from research into historical, folkloric and contemporary death rituals in Ireland, from my artist residency at Creative Spark in the summer of 2023.
The title is taken from the poem 'The Grauballe Man' by Seamus Heaney.
This piece is printed from 1 block using the reduction method of linocut. The drawn layer is produced using polyester plate lithography.
